Update on Sister Sofir from her sister Fanya. She asked for donations to be made to American Cancer Society "so no one else will go through this sickness and pain" (though the obit says "Donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice," which is what Oleg had told me.) The family is so appreciative of the outpouring of feelings and affection for Izabella.:
February 07, 1942- February 12, 2018
Izabella M. Sofir, 76, lost her battle to cancer and died on February 12, 2018. She was surrounded by her family members and her best friends.

Izabella loved to travel, to read, socialize with people, enjoyed going to movies. She loved to spend time with her family. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She was an angel and we will miss her dearly.

Chyten and her husband Jonathan, grandniece Gabrielle Chyten, cousin Rimma Saanovsky and her husband Vladimir, Dora Beygelmakher, Natalie and Edward Rebry, Sara and Joseph Margolin, and many, many other close friends.

Brother David Gaboriault posted on Facebook today, that ISABELLA SOFIR Passed Away. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
Our thoughts and prays go out to her family and friends and expecially her Opera House family.
