Beverly McCormack

It is with a heavy heart I recently learned of the passing of Sister and former Business Agent and Chief Usher, Beverly McCormack. Once services are fully arranged and finalized, we will communicate them.

A wake service will be held in Beverly's memory at Dolan Funeral Home, 460 Granite Street,
Milton, MA on Saturday, January 21 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

From the Boston Globe:

Beverly worked in the Boston theaters for 45 years, holding many positions, including the Assistant Chief Usher at the Music Hall and Wang Center, the Chief Usher at the Boston Opera House, and the stage door person at the Colonial Theatre. In addition, she served as the Business Agent for the local ushers' union, IATSE Local B-4, for more than 30 years. She is survived by her husband Thomas, daughter Molly Lebel, 4 grandchildren, Steven, Emilia, Teagan, and Cassidy, her sister Shirley Pittore, brother Douglas Gentry, and a number of nieces and nephews. Beverly's true loves in life were her children, her grandchildren, her work in the theater, and New Hampshire, where her family has owned a summer cottage for many years.
